Jen Kost, MSW, LCSW, PMH-C
Founder and Psychotherapist
Jen discovered the perinatal world when a friend asked her to photograph her homebirth. Witnessing the mental, physical, and emotional strength it takes to bring a baby into this world was an absolutely life-changing experience for Jen. She knew it wouldn’t be the last time. Soon after, Jen pursued doula training. She completed her doula training in 2014 and fell in love with supporting families through the transition into parenthood. Knowing that being on call and going to deliveries at 3am forever wasn’t sustainable for her, she went back to school to become a social worker, completing her MSW in 2018. Since then, Jen has been working in Child and Maternal Health in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient psychotherapy.
Jen has found her calling in life: to support families throughout the perinatal period, including family planning, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, grief and loss, and parent-child bonding. She believes that so much of pursuing and becoming a parent is connected to the experience one had of being parented. Jen joins clients on the journey to discovering the inner child within who needs healing and care while they make steps towards parenthood.
