Elle Murphy, MSW, LSW

Staff Psychotherapist

Elle’s journey into the perinatal world began as an early childhood educator, where she witnessed the profound emotional and psychological transformations that come with parenthood. This experience ignited her passion for supporting families, prompting her to complete doula training in 2021. While working as a doula, Elle recognized a desire to deepen her connection with clients, leading her to pursue a Master of Social Work (MSW) with a focus on Child, Youth, and Families, which she completed in 2024.

Combining her clinical expertise with her perinatal experience, Elle provides trauma-informed, holistic support to families navigating pregnancy, postpartum challenges, infant loss, and the emotional complexities of new parenthood. She is deeply committed to fostering meaningful, supportive connections between parents, their children and their community.

Elle also has a strong research interest in gender-based violence, particularly its intersection with mental health and perinatal experiences. Her research on intimate partner violence has been presented at national conferences, where she seeks to bridge academic insights with practical, on-the-ground support.

Through her work as a doula, counselor, and researcher, Elle is dedicated to empowering parents to navigate the perinatal journey with compassion, understanding, and clinical expertise. Reach out to schedule today!
